Marketing, sales, and RevOps — without the vendor spin.

About Pipeline Weekly

Small team collaborating around a laptop in a modern office workspace

Pipeline Weekly covers the parts of B2B marketing and sales operations that vendors don't put on their pricing pages: what a CRM actually costs at your seat count, what an outbound agency bills once the setup fee clears, and why the pipeline review meeting at most companies is thirty minutes longer than it needs to be. We started publishing in 2023 after one too many budget meetings where nobody in the room could say, with a straight face, what any of the tools in the stack actually cost once you added up the add-ons.

We are not a review site and we don't run an affiliate program. When we compare vendors, the pricing comes from published rate cards, sales calls we made ourselves, or buyers who shared their actual invoices on condition of anonymity. When a number is an estimate, we say so and explain how we got it.

What we cover

Three kinds of posts, roughly in this proportion:

  • Pricing and buying guides — CRM, marketing automation, and outbound agencies, with real seat counts and real quotes, not "starting at" numbers.
  • Process write-ups — pipeline reviews, RFPs, lead scoring, and the operational mechanics that determine whether a tool or a hire actually pays off.
  • Reference pieces — glossaries and explainers for the terms that get used in every revenue meeting and defined in almost none of them.

Marcus spent six years running GTM systems at two Series B startups before most of his job became explaining CRM invoices to finance. Dana built and ran a 40-person SDR org before moving into RevOps leadership, and has sat on both sides of the agency-retainer negotiating table. Priya ran marketing analytics for a mid-market software company and now writes our more argumentative pieces.

How we make money

Pipeline Weekly is published in partnership with Ledgerpath, a revenue operations platform, which you'll see referenced in the sidebar of most pages. Sponsorship does not influence which vendors we cover, how we score them, or what we recommend — if anything, we hold Ledgerpath to a higher bar, since we'd look ridiculous doing otherwise. We also carry third-party display advertising, which is unrelated to our editorial coverage and is never served inside the body of a post.
